The magnetic tiles are an opaque sleek black shade specifically designed to contrast against all other CONNETIX colours. The black shade and carefully curated shapes are perfect for building roads with intersections, round-a-bouts, bends, bridges and more!
There is no doubt that endless hours are to be had creating all sorts of different road designs surrounded by towns, cities and open landscapes. However, the best part about these tiles is that they are free from white lines and road markings. Consequently, the tiles retain their open-ended CONNETIX awesomeness and can be used to build so much more than just roads!
Here are 5 ideas to get you started with the new CONNETIX Road Range.
The Road Range has a new tile in the shape of a ramp. It’s perfect for joining up to a bridge or making a hill in a road. However, it is also a great piece to connect levels of a car garage or multi-level carpark. If you are keen to build a multi-level building for cars, then the CONNETIX base plates are an excellent choice to combine with the Road Range. The ramps and other shapes in this range could also be used to create a fun skate park. Just think of all the ramps, jumps and half pipes you could create with these new black tiles! What else could you make with ramps?
Every aircraft needs a cool runway or helicopter pad to take off from and land at. Right??? This can be easily created using the tiles in this range. By incorporating other magnetic tiles you have at home, you’ll be able to transform your runway into an entire airport. If you’ve got an inspiring pilot or a child who loves aircrafts, then this is a build you’ll have to try. Another alternative idea is to create a racetrack. Zoom around with cars you already have and consider making a stadium for viewers to watch the race!
If you love making ball runs, then you won’t be able to resist yourself making ball runs with this range.
