Everyone loves the chair ride carousel so why not build one for peg dolls too!
If you’re a fan of the classic chair ride carousel, you’re in for a treat. Picture this: a miniature version tailor-made for peg dolls! Imagine the endless possibilities as these tiny figurines whirl and twirl in their own whimsical world. Not only does this  carousel promise hours of creative fun, but it also holds the key to valuable learning experiences. By matching the peg dolls to corresponding colored tiles, it becomes a fun tool for teaching color associations. So, why not embark on this journey of play and learning by building your own Magnetic Tiles carousel.
Tiles needed:
- 36 square tiles: 6 for each color
- 18 small equilateral triangles: 3 for each color
- 6 isosceles triangles: 1 for each color
- 2 hexagons
- 6 mini rectangles: 1 for each color
Step by Step Guide
Step 1: Start with base build by alternating square tiles and equilateral triangles.Join the tiles by inserting the hexagon in the middle.
Step 2: Build the middle part with 3 square tiles of each color.Close with the second hexagon
Step 3: To create the top frame join the side of two tiles with the last tile of the middle part.
Step 4: Pass the double thread through the holes that are on the sides of the bottom tile of the topframe by going to connect it with the small rectangle by passing the wire over both holes on both sides joining them with a knot.Cut off the excess thread.
Step 5: Close the gaps with equilateral triangles.
Step 6: Build the tip of the carousel with 6 isosceles triangles.
Tips
- Use the turntable to spin the carousel.
- To make it easier to pass the thread through, prepare 12 pieces of thread about 48 cm long in advance.
- Secure the passengers with double-sided tape so they don’t fly off when the carousel spins.
