I named this ball run “The Dancing House” because it somehow reminds me of The Dancing House in Prague, a building of modern architecture, with two towers that seem to dance. Even the swaying motion of the balls is almost reminiscent of a dance, and the two directions of the ball run make it even more fun! You can make this Ball Run if you have a Pastel Creative Pack
- 8x Large squares
- 41x Small squares
- 7x Window square pieces
- 7x Hollow square pieces
- 16x Isosceles triangles
- 12x Right-angled triangles
Step-by-step instructions
1.
First build the base of the ball run. Starting from the center construct a square with 2 windows and 2 small squares. Close the top side with a small square. Then add 4 small squares on each side and close the ends with a hollow square, resulting in a solid foundation for the dancing house. Create the two slopes going both directions with 2 right-angled triangles and a small square on each side.
2.
The second floor consists of 4 isosceles triangles on each side of the house, enclosed by a window on the outside and a small square on the inside. Create the slope by placing a small square in between the two triangles.
3.
For the perimeter of the second floor you need 2 windows and 4 small squares for each side. This time add the slope to the middle part, always using 2 right-angled triangles and a small square for each side.
4.
Continue the sequence by repeating the same process as on the first floor, with the difference that the outer side remains open and the two small squares in the middle part join at the top.
5.
Add the fourth floor using the same process as the second floor, while keeping the small squares in the center together. Finally, place a small square over the two windows on both sides of the ball run.
6.
Only the last step is missing! Add 4 large squares to form the roof and your dancing house is ready to dance!
